zool and wog Zool that glass you recommended worked out great! Mike went back in and sanded my arse of for the last 2 days and threw down your rustoleum formula, 1 coat. Large area, got pretty buzzed. Will finish it off tomorrow. BTW....Sanding the first 2 coat rustoleum was like sanding steel!

Also sanded down the stringers to level for the splashwell. Sacking out got to gets to work tonight. Sanding really...

Well there's a scare and validation for the value of deck scuppers. Did the other side of the gunnel/liner. Darn happy how that 1700 rolled into the curves and undulations of the pb I placed yesterday. Cool here and rain seems immenient all the day. Using some heat lamps to pick up the pace. Wet...

So yesterday when I got home in the morn...I grinded out the transom area where the old deck drains were. As I said real crappy no access area and the both were sealed with silicone to the liner. So here's a note to yap about. The liner comes on the insides hull. They are integral to the outside...

So in regards to the transom, battery hatch and self bailing drains. The drains were concealed left and right behind the transom sides and in accessible. I'm going to move them out where I show them with alot of modifications. That being said then create a battery hatch that is elevated above...

TGIF!! Got into the deck this morning after work, let's call it a dry run fit. Screwed down a bunch to feel it out. Not to bad. Still have a little trimming and fitting. I need to order some access floor panels. Might go stainless over pvc. We'll see. Did not do over the tank ply.

    Jon boat floor renovation

Something like this? Pretty bad drawing but food for thought. All lower areas get foamed or storage in the raised deck area. You may need to add a lip of wood on inside perimeter for the new flor to rest on and the same in the raised areas. Try to put your bench on the stringers/bulkheads. Oh...

I needed to build a platform to support the baitwell. Around 2" gap from keel stringer to base of baitwell. The other day I stood in it after doing some work and it bounces/flexes too much. I made some ply for the support. Wood gave me a suggestion to use to form the slight bevel corners. His...

1974 Duo Vagabond 17' sterndrive Transom and stringers project

I had to make a support for under my bait tank. I beveled down the edges using 1700 and EEEpppoxy. Still had issues with the turn. Will grind that out and fill with csm. Some it will work so hey...

So pics might be in order. The bait well has a spot that the wood is thin. I added some 1700 again. Also made a "toothe" to go under the existing deck glass and will allow me to add pb for a good adhesion. Also sanded down fishwell Epoxy and went back with fiairing compound for easier sanding...
