    I bought the extra bolts this morning and the L-brackets are now fully torqued and secure. Next step is a major cleanup followed by installing the trolling motor.

    Because the boy kept turning the torque wrench. Said he was "strong" and that it hadn't clicked yet. Some 5200 had gotten into the threads and under the washer, etc. I don't want to say any more than that. :cautious: We'll try again this morning.

    This happened today, but it's all illusion. 🤨🪄 Gonna have to be pulled back off and redone. And yeah, the AV plate is way too high. Once I reinstall, I'll get the jack plate adjusted down to being even with the bottom and go from there.
