    stator and/or control module... ya need ta get cdi ta decide which stator ohms are right.. never heard of a stator for same motor having 2 different values??? faz, tha pumpers (wmh's) were 1 year only.. tha '91' models.. they (accel. pump) went away in '92... so unless someone did some changin'...

    tha only thing with tha one above it doesn't show your regulator.. it mounts directly behind tha flywheel, top of block and has a red and a yellow wire.. they connect to tha rectifier......

    if your comp is actually what ya say tha motor is really tired ta start with.. should be at least 110+ or better for a healthy motor.... ya might try another gauge ta compare.. tha motor needs ta turn up with whatever prop/height ya end up at... tha 56 ta 5800 is a lot better on tha little...

    i can guarantee if its got 200 stamped on tha plug you won't find a bridge in it................... that stamp was only on hi performance oval ports (actual same as production block, jus naked) and 200 production motors

    which carbs?? wh, wmv, wmh?.. you will need ta use tha jetting that matches tha carburetor number you are using............. although if its tha WH series (which is what pre '91's use) tha vent jetting is really not important.. some don't use any vent jetting even if it calls for 'em.. will...

    does it "sputter" ta a cadence or jus a random sputter??? ya might take tha cowls of and run a screw driver ta ground around tha spark plug wires at different rpm.. best ta do it in tha dark.... lotsa folks over look tha wires jus cause they "look good"....

    tha pressure gauge will tell all.. most temp gauges can and will be all over tha place.. jus make sure your over temp warnin' buzzer is workin'.. its a lot more dependable than any metal ta metal temp gauge sensor.. get yourself a temp gun and be sure if ya worried 'bout it................ jmo.

    first your motor is: 1986 Outboard 175 [ELPTO] these are really good, stout motors when healthy.. 200's got nothin' on 'em.... next tha jack plate should not come inta play at all when ya wanna pull tha one side of tha clamp.. ya really need some type of support on tha motor doin' it that way...
