    I took a look at the original pictures you posted and noticed something . . . not sure if it has been discussed or perhaps overlooked. . Could this be a crack in the exhaust port area of the cylinder head? Not sure if has been noticed and/or ruled out. :unsure:

    Sounds like you were a bit heavy-handed with the throttle. Not sure what engine you have . . . some stay down better in reverse than others. Your engine might be lifting up too easily.

    Just catching up to this thread. I got the same fault code on my starboard engine when testing out my new batteries. (4602-23) . . . It complained about voltage, blah, blah, blah. There was not much of a description to the error code on my Diacom, but I was able to clear it.

    Subscribing in . . . . I would take a second look at the fuel tank before you put it in. Boats rarely sit level in the water (bow slightly up) and are certainly not level underway. So, the vent fitting, if it does not have the internal tube going to the front, may have trouble breathing...

    Quick Update . . . after some poking around. I am focusing on the 2-alternator/3-battery isolator. I'm seeing voltage where I don't think I should be. It is a good thing I put a bunch of CB's in the wiring layout. I can isolate things for testing and diagnostics.
