    New Boat Launch Ramp

Okay...... I can almost see what "should happen" - I participated in building a launching ramp at Ft Belvoir VA Gravel base will act as a bearing surface to slide larger pre-fabbed pieces and help get things installed. However.... Just sit back and watch! Ted, that's your new retirement...

    Brake fluid

Interesting on my BMW motorcycle (and MANY others including cars) a brake fluid change is recommended every so many years. There is the "old method" where it is drained and replaced (which will raise hell with ABS) and computer support is needed to reduce ABS faults. Then there is the newer...

    Blue dot stains

looks like oil....... I imagine a tiny leak that could be under pressure....... also check the vent's for the motor compartment - if oil gets in the vents it will also get out due to air pressure.

    Charging Voltage, '97 Suburban

AGREE! Our local Interstate Battery will make cables on the spot and use "tinned" wire (AKA Marine wire) which work great. Yeah corrosion is one of the worst enemies because it is normally hidden.

9.5 Motor doesn't start after turning off

Welcome to iBoats A few questions for you - Have the points been cleaned and properly gapped? Has the carb been completely cleaned and gone through? Has a "decarb" routine been done? When was the motor really serviced? The 9 1/2 HP are great little motors but they do require some maintenance.

    Sound deadening

I just feel compelled to say this ............. I agree with most people's suggestions but offer two altenatives....... forget the soundproffing and get a bigger Amp & Speakers......... turn it up and like majic you will not hear the motor and the cheapest way is to get earplugs.
