swap switch box leads from 1 with either 3 or 5.. see if fire fire pattern follows? sounds like a coupla switch boxes are in ya future.. maybe stator also..
wouldn't worry 'bout plugs.. i can say i've never had a surface gap plug go bad with any merc...
something ta consider with tha new reg/rectifiers if they have tha bullet connectors... best if you cut those off, solder and heat shrink tha joints.. tha bullet type are known for a heat problem........... jmo.
anytime you disassemble anything/part fuel related it needs NEW gaskets no mater what they look (still good or bad) they need ta be replaced with new... tha enrichner has no bearing on pressure.. yours is mounted right.. lines on top.........
