    2021 yamaha f200

The main engine harness has ten pin connectors at each end. One of those pins in the connector being used for Yamaha motors that have have a choke system for fuel enrichment. Your new motor, having fuel injection, does not use the wire for the choke. Pushing your key in when starting the...

    Merc 115 4 strokes 2001 ECU/fuel pump problem

With the pump running and the motor off (say at key on but prior to start) the pump pressure will be at its highest. Maybe 40 psi or a bit higher. Start and run the motor at idle RPM and the fuel pressure should drop. Maybe to around 36 psi or so. Increase the RPM and the fuel pressure will...

2002 Mercury 115 ELPTO 2 Stroke electrical output

My 1997 175 EFI Mercury came with a pull cord in the pouch. Battery only needed to have enough voltage to run the fuel pump. Like you, I tried it. Surprisingly easy. Motor started right up. Never needed to use the cord again.

2002 Mercury 115 ELPTO 2 Stroke electrical output

I would guess that your motor has pull start capability. If so, no harm no foul if the start battery goes dead. Having said that, I see no problem in having two batteries. One for start and one for the house. With a VSR/ACR/Combiner/Isolator/Etc. between the two. The alternator on your model...
