    And it begins. 😐

    Cutting cable TV

Quite frankly, if I could find a way to keep the business show that I watch and then cut all the way back to basic Hulu or some other setup, I'd be doing that very thing. Alas, that just isn't possible yet. :( And even then I still wouldn't have a DVR. :cautious:

    Cutting cable TV

I signed up for Hulu Live+ which is currently $55/mo but will be going up to $65/mo on Dec 18th. I also added another $15 for enhanced DVR. And my Spectrum internet is $75/mo. That'd put me at $155 plus taxes and bottle deposits. :ROFLMAO: But, I won't stay at that level. I'll keep looking...

    Tackle boxes

My "new" tackle box (less than 5 years old) broke badly enough a month ago that I ended up trashing it and pulled out my old standby, which I've owned for something like 35 years. Both boxes are general purpose types and are large, although the old one is huge compared to the newer one. The...

    Cutting cable TV

Okay guys, I just dumped SlingTV and closed my account. The service just sucks. The DVR kept getting "lost" during playback. It would skip around, repeat itself, insert extra commercials and the FF/REV function was sporadic at best. And the Guide was terrible. However, I'll really miss all...

    Connecting a 2nd gas tank to a Mercury 40hp 4 stroke

You swap at the tank, not at the engine. All it takes is a quick disconnect setup. See "D" and "E" in the pic below. I have this same setup and it only takes a couple of seconds to change tanks.

    Time for a new laptop.

Oh yeah, I also got my truck back on the road! New tires, shine job, etc. 😁 Check out those reflections.

    Time for a new laptop.

Well guys, I thought I'd give y'all an update. The $50 hard drive with Windows 10 preinstalled that I bought didn't have a key, but I knew that at the time of purchase. I figured that I could use one of the 3 legit keys that I already had from the two prior hard drives and the case of the Dell...

    Sealing pink insulation foam?

Yup, I used HDPE trash bags to fully encapsulate my foam sections at the stern of the boat. And I sealed them with aluminum tape which is also fuel resistant. The bags are easy to get; just do a 'net search.

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

Thanks WM! Couldn't have done it without help from you and others on this forum. :) I just wish that I'd left the seats up instead of folded down. They aren't visible in the pix. And I wasn't able to get drone pix/video because my drone broke... twice.

does this look like it had power tilt and trim?

My pleasure. I have a pair of 70HP Mercs that use the same T&T setup which will be going onto my Chieftain. Here's the 50 with new decals applied. 🤓

    Some good stuff happening

Today the boy finished up plugging the sheet metal joint holes and my buddy came over to pick up the leftover ducting. While here, he rehung the AU-23 Peacemaker back up into the heights of the garage, marking final completion of the AC project.

    Some good stuff happening

Dinner break! My buddy's wife and little boy came over, so naturally we had to add dessert too! 😋 Initial setup and testing the heating... worked great! Here we started testing the cooling and it was rapidly dropping the inside temperature. Just 5 minutes later it had dropped...

    Some good stuff happening

My buddy showed up this afternoon and got right to work. And the AC is now fully installed and functional! The boy and I had cut up a couple of the foam insulation sticks into little donut shapes (by the door) and used them to plug the holes in the sheet metal end sections where...

Yep, it's a multi-type thermostat. Dunno about the painting/grinding thing but I do know this... The AC is done! 😁

    Some good stuff happening

We went to HD this afternoon and picked up a generic air filter, some foam pipe insulation and a couple of 3/4" PVC elbows as well as a 24" section of 3/4" PVC pipe. Got everything lined up, ready to go to work. Foam insulation installed. Foam insulation installed on the outside section...
