    1988 Sears Gamefisher 9.9 - ignition problem

That coil looks cracked and has burn marks. If what I am seeing is correct it needs to be replaced.

Did you use the correct gaskets? Is that the carb that uses a little hose in the float bowl? If it is make sure that is connected.

    93 Johson 150hp fuel issue

You need to clean and rebuild the carbs. If that is a looper motor make sure you clean the calibration pockets. Also buy a factory manual.

    100:1 or 50:1?

My McCullochs were running 100-1 on factory oil in 1964. No special bearings then. It was just good quality factory oil and never had a problem. So yes easy to prove me being right. My McCulloch was rated 75 hp at 5600 rpm.

    100:1 or 50:1?

Well you and Racer can both be wrong on this one. A little more knowledge on your part would go a long way. Those motors failed after long term storage not while they were running. That is no secret. As fars as oil technology goes McCulloch was running 100-1 on their oil back in 1964.

    97 Evinrude E50ESLEUS trim/tilt relay location??

That motor does not have tilt and trim. The SPL models were more of a budget motor usually not having tilt and trim. It should have some kind of tilt assist.

    100:1 or 50:1?

I don't care what people decide to run in their motors. But to say it can't be done is not true. Run what you want. People need to know only certain oils can run 100-1 not all of them can.

    97 Evinrude E50ESLEUS trim/tilt relay location??

Is this motor new to you? I see nothing on that motor that says you have tilt and trim. There should be 3 wires with bullet connectors that should be hanging by the CDI box. Those would be for the remote switch in the lower cowling. I also do not see any relays. The T missing in your model #...

    97 Evinrude E50ESLEUS trim/tilt relay location??

Are you missing a T in the model #? Facing the front of the boat. On the right side of the power head is a plastic cover under that is the relays. They will be with the Cdi box and regulator. Does your motor have T/N/T?

    100:1 or 50:1?

Did you not see I referenced Amsoil. Amsoil will actually warranty their oils. With that I am out, I am not going to turn this into an oil debate the OP has his answer.

    100:1 or 50:1?

Still wrong! No matter how many times you say it you will not be right. Maybe you just don't understand it? Maybe you should look at Amsoils Website. Never to old to learn they say. There are absolutely oils capable of running 100-1. The OMC oil just was not uo to the task.
