    Weep hole??

No part of the fuel system should ever leak fuel out of the system - this is a major fire hazard, I'm guessing there's a leak in the diaphragm or the gaskets. Just do a rebuild.

Wiring Harness Dislodged 2018 Mercury 115 hp

Use the serial nr. to find the assembly diagram and maybe it will show an adhesive that they used. It looks like it screws into the motor component.

    1989 mercury 115 ignition test

The motor has to be turning over at least 400 rpms to energize the ignition system.

    1967 merc 60 starter

It should be lightly greased Merc's 2-4-C is a good choice, some components could be worn out. This is for a later type but the components are the same.

86' Mercury 150 xr2 V6 pre mixed fuel blowing out of positive pressure ports of crankcase

Is your altitude above or below sea level? that's normally the reason for changing.

86' Mercury 150 xr2 V6 pre mixed fuel blowing out of positive pressure ports of crankcase

"and .064 jet added to the main, idle jet .056" Why was this done? Just for my education.

Mercury inline primary pick up 4-6, which is better, 4 or 6?

Use the idle stop screw to lower the idle rpm (turn it out to lower). You might have to adjust the cable to bring the distributor to the screw

    Merc's 150 HP 2 Stroke EFI Motor.-

Looks like the PO is a "run it 'til it fails" (then he'll slag Mercury for making a crappy motor) kind of guy! I bought a car ( a 2004) 3 years ago and it had the original plugs; I asked the owner why he never changed them and he said "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

    400-650 Mercury Thunderbolt information needed

I'm pretty sure Mercury never built opposed engines except for engineering exercises.

No Spark and Key wont turn the engine over.

Isn't it usually in the control box? Turn the key to start and wiggle the shift handle around N at the same time.

New boater with trouble starting engine

All I can say for now is check the battery voltage when starting, it should be 10-12v; also the cables to battery should be clean and tight with no corrosion.

    Motor opinion

It used to be said that if the cylinders are within 10 psi of each other you're OK, so maybe the gage is not accurate.

    Fisher sv-19 gt w/ 150EFI prop pitch?

The prop pitch is right when the motor is at full throttle and the rpms are within the max. eg.If the pitch is too low the motor will exceed the 5800 rpm limit, this is not good. Put the 19 on it and see what the max rpm you get - but only for a few seconds then note the rpms. I would say a 25"...

    Fisher sv-19 gt w/ 150EFI prop pitch?

All you need is a tachometer to show your present rpm then you can go up or down for the right prop - this is really the only way to match your outfit. A tach will also show engine performance, idle, max rpm etc. Any alternator driven one will work

    Mariner 60hp motor identify help

I've added some arrows to your picture to show some potential trouble spots, the worst one is the red arrow that points to what looks like severe corrosion that has destroyed part of the exhaust extension, this could be dangerous. The yellow arrows point to possible wiring corrosion issues.

    1962 Merc 450 restoration ..

Put the DS horizontally in a vise then put a rag inside the housing to prevent the wrench from hitting the side then turn the nut off, when it's off you can tap on the housing to knock out the shaft. The pinion gear will be loose and might come out first.

    1962 Merc 450 restoration ..

If that pump housing is made from aluminum it will need bathing with penetrating oil and heat for awhile; if it's plastic prying should be enough. To pull it with the driveshaft you'll have to undo the bearing carrier nut (the one the propshaft goes thru) pull out the reverse gear and bearing...
