    well seems comp #s are ok but lots of variables to check. how's the prop/boat match ..... linkage.....sparks..... etc... . can you measure RPM's at wot ?

    likely low a bit and equal which is desired ....but....it runs good, idles great...how much faster do you need to go and at what cost...to improve PSI's. 7.5s go way back to the 50s ... great fishing motor not so good for skiing :)

    well if you can't find one just line up the cracks... back fill (cover the cracks) with baking soda and crazy glue. front side... same process fill gaps with baking soda wet with crazy glue...repeat and level out the cracks. touch up with paint

    if you think a coil or coils overheat you can always cool them down real fast for a qwick test. Same for any suspected heat sensitive parts . Dollarstore keyboard spray cans held upside down will spray propellant that acts likea freeze spray. if the coils react to a fast cool down...
