    if not a fuel issue could still be localized overheating issue did you check for heat related problems ... could be overheated ignition components. try some coolant spray* to cool down the ign. coils just to see it/they reacts (starts up again ...before the next morning :-) try...

    things to check vst filter clean ? vst float working ok ? when were injectors cleaned last ?? you may have a high pressure filter t the output of the VST... btw do you have EV diagnostics to check for faults...

    so did you install the proper amperage rated fuse....??? then what happen did the fuse blow ?? if it blew right at KEY ON remove any extra accessories hooked up on the accessory post of the switch ... just pull the ACC wire and retry if ok and fuse no longer blows at KEY ON you...

    btw the above reflects one way of going things to get a starter to start spinning. post your model #s depening on wiring starter control may pass via a safety neutral interrupt . some systems use a ground to get the solenoid/starter going as in modern ETECs a wiring diagram /service...

    solenoid have 2 main posts IN (form batt) and OUT ( to starter) and a smaller control post. if you apply batt B+ to the IN post... the solenoid must be activated with the key at START to pass B+ over to the starter ....the normal way it works B+ on the IN post with a starter...

    comp aside a 1000 miles is a 1000 miles if anything goes South. have you searched the local market to compare.
