    The first step in trouble shooting these crossflow motors is a compression test.----Post the actual values you get.----Fuel pumps are operated by crankcase PRESSURE and not vacuum.

    It may jump a gap on the sparkplug laying on the block.----That does not mean it fires when air is compressed to 80 PSI in the cylinder.----Do this simple test.----Put 6 or 7 drops of fuel the sparkplug hole.----Install plug.----Try and start motor.----Report what happens..----

    Does spark jump a gap of 5/16" , yes or no?

    Prop clicking one way in forward is normal.----They all do that.-----Check gears in upper part of the drive.

    Post the actual ohm readings off the charge coil.-----And actual ohm readings on sensor coil.-----Is the starter motor spinning flywheel fast enough??

    No need to open throttle on a 2 stroke like yours , to do a compression test.

    I have a parts book somewhere if I can find it.-----But look for -----aomci----Lots of grey haired types there who know these motors.----Might have better luck there.

    ???----6 carburetors with the same issue is doubtful.

    Motor has a blown head gasket if you are lucky.-----Likely a scored cylinder and time for teardown and rebuilding.

    Try squeezing primer bulb to fill carburetors before restarting.

    What is your restart procedure after the 30 minutes?

    Stator function 1976 115 Mercury

    Battery should show about 12.4 volts.-----At fast idle it should show 13.5 volts or more.-----If that is not the case test stator yellow wires.----If stator is good , replace rectifier.
