    Why would anyone do that?? And what I don't understand is in your original picture they were sticking out....how did the plastic cover even go on? You need a close up of someone else's carb.

    I would start hunting around for a local blown power head model and buy the whole thing. $200 to $300 might get you a whole parts motor with a good gearcase. Parts list tells you years and hp that it fits so there should be some available.

    Running a 2 stroke motor to lean is not good, that's why I suggested to run another compression test. Hopefully your engine is still ok....

    Shouldn't change your WOT just ideling circuits. Fuel lines under the cowl is a good suggestion.

    There's always relays and that's what those two wires do unless you have an aftermarket trim and tilt. Post pictures....under cowl and the t&t system.

    Normally they hook to the trim relay. Here is a video of relay replacement.....look near the end on where they enter the motor. I think you will find someone spliced different wires into the relay.

    You would test the switch but I'm guessing it doesn't work. Blue and green are trim wires....blue for sky (up) green for grass (down). Maybe someone thought the wire harness was bad. Locate the trim relay and see what wires are on there. You can most likely test your stock trim switch with...
