    I think your over engineering it a bit but it's your boat. fillet is not necessary IMO. and even using yellow pine lumber will last you many years, The PT lumber these days ain't what it used to be..

    I agree with the above posts but if I wanted to do what you suggested I would just glue and screw the 2x6 on top of the 2x4..

    It doesn't look life threatening, my kitchen faucet drips more. Another option is the seal for the raw water tube, they can take a beating when changing the hose..

    Valve position has no effect on the pressure test.

    I don't believe there is a practical way to pressure test manifold or elbow. That test is done with acetone.

    Some controllers have a tension adjustment or the controller itself may need attention.

    I pulled power from the + on the coil, it was close to the relay. No problem yet. My goal was to keep the wiring simple and compact.

    I would study your engine room and imagine having to work on the motor. Any components that are impossible to get to I would replace with new. Fuel pump or starter in my case..

    Looks like you may have the wrong prop and certainly some mis-matched parts. I know only what mine looks like and that ain't it. The shaft is probably ok with a bit of work..

    Something don't look right. The nut is too small for the locking ring. You may need to remove the prop and be sure all the parts for the hub are there..

    If you feel you can DIY there are many here that will guide ya. If you are not of that nature then find a mech who is better than the last one... I have crapped out many times but I learn from the folks on this forum. many have done this stuff for a livelihood and are willing to help... Welcome...
