    Get the water out of the engine crankcase replace oil, take spark plugs out spin engine to expel any water from combustion chambers and get it running. Dont let the water sit in there. Then repeatedly change the oil until it runs clear.

    Seen them both ways. i would suspect taking the top off carb and looking through the needles and seats and floats will find your issue, but on the offhand you have to much fuel pressure it can also over come he float . Did u have yhe same issue with old carb?

    If you have not had it on the water distance from water line to the top of risers cant be the cause. If you have the factory parts manual for your boat it will tell u in the engine section if a 4.3 comes with risers. My 200 sport said 5.0 w rsr … hold your money for now pressure test cooling...
