    My guess would also be u joints and drive is all the way up. If drive is down you could remove drive and test with drive off Also 3.0's are not the quietest engine always a little tappy sewing machine like on the one I had for years.

    Yes it would but trick reading plugs is trying to figure out when its is in cruise (step up rod down) vs power (step up rod up/out) and immediately reading the plugs after a few minutes in each phase.

    What difference are you seeing? the book will have more combos then the kit. I believe the kit is just a portion of what rod and jet combos are available. I ended up buying individual rods as I went.
