    Here is a pic I took of my manual of the CDI, not the same set up as yours mine is 1999 and does not have linkage to timing plate like yours just to the CDI which controls timing changes I can take a pic of mine tomorrow if you really want

    did you have that linkage all apart? it does not look the same as my C40TLRX there is a large cam that hits the roller on the carb linkages to open those as the cable moves. might see if you can find a service manual for your motor to see if that has any info

    they make contact cleaners, but spraying just about anything in there even WD40 and pushing the connecter in and out a few times might be helpfull to see if that helps

    something is restricting the flow of fuel from the tank. is it a built in tank? if so, it should have a anti syphon valve and or a sock/filter on the pickup tube that needs to be checked on

    since both the ignition switch and Kill switch have the problem at the same time, I would guess a bad connection in the harness , have you tied unplugging the connector at the motor and cleaning those connections up. or see any corrosion in there? it could be in the cable itself, but to check...

    this is why most will let the dealer do the 1st service, ust to document it was done. but maybe receipts for the parts with dates would help for self servicing. I also like the idea of pics with dates of servicing

    need to make sure the gauge is set to see the proper trim sender. I have no idea what that 2016 f90 has, but there were 2 wire and 3 wire units on 2 stroke and 4 stroke Yamahas on different years

    I have to ask, what is fear oil? I would think the 1st oil and lower lube changes are to remove the fine metal from the breakin of the motor and gears moving parts. I would also change the filter just to get rid of the stuff it caught and clean off the magnet of the lower unit drain plug too...
