    Why dont you let people know what you are working on and what issue you are trying to solve If you have an MPI engine and you are chasing a possible misfire have you changed the distributor cap which is a know failure point on them.

    Bayliner quality has improved since they had all of the issues. It is still and entry level boat. I had a similar size Sea Ray with a 3.0 years ago. As my kids got bigger that boat got small fast. How many people do you plan to go out with? Would be looking for repair and winterization...

    I found it helpful as I had a lean spot after hitting the throttle due to slop in accelerator pump circuit then I was too fat on the step up rods. I assume you have log not center riser exhaust manifolds? Not sure if these 02 adapters will fit your manifold and elbow configuration...

    http://wallaceracing.com/plug-reading-lm.html Look at the link your plugs show a tad rich on their scale. I had similar plugs on Mine thought they were lean bc insulator was clean, put an afr meter on and was way rich … Plug reading is only good if you run it cut it off and read the plug...

    on a gen two unless housing is scored there is no need. The stainless housing is much more robust than the earlier plastic ones. Merc has a kit with impeller baseplate and gaskets for about $55. Unless it was run dry forever thats all you need. Many places to buy but this is the oem kit merc...

    Since there is no water coming up from drive would back flush down that hose to see if u get water flow in reverse direction. If you dont there is a clogg somewhere. get the merc manual for your drive will see if i can do s9me screen shots of impeller work.

    Do you still have a TKS carb or do you have a mercarb with a choke? Possible someone swapped out a TKS for a electric choke carb. I think the execution of the tks carb was not one of Mercs shining moments... wouldn't surprise me if someone disconnected it.
