Time to buy a " factory service manual" not an aftermarket !! If you are mechanically inclined then you should be able to follow along. Way to much typing on here to give step by step instructions !! My Merc has a float switch at the bottom of the oil tank that are problematic, is your...
Looked at them for a small motorhome...have been told that there are no worthwhile battery powered A/C units on the market. If you wish to set up an extravogent battery/ inverter system, they do work well but big $$$ and they take up space. Many folks claim a fan in front of a cooler of ice...
You could also search for a "factory " service manual, they usually give great step by step and pictures !! Makes an excellent accessory if you ever decide to sell !

Yep, you have some taking apart to get er done!! Not a fun job, but being a fuel vent, you really want to fix it right !! I have to say this, never saw a plastic vent before, all mine have been metal...cheap ole diecast, but at least metal !!
All my boats ( many of them) over the years, always had bilge discharge on the sides !! With that said, if it were my boat, I would try a taller loop ( easiest and cheapest) and see what happens, if that doesn't work then add a check valve into the line...

When a transom gets soft from rot, the wood around the mounts collapses and causes water leaks. If you tighten the bolts, it collapses the transom wood even more, causing a bigger leak. Pull engine and outdrive and replace transom with solid wood. Hate to give you the bad news...
If we had a time lapse on that pic and could see a little latter in time....we would see a big POOF as she goes up in flames!! Sorry, no idea why it went bold..
That is a tough one...had one like it and rod storage was a pita !! You might consider cutting away some of the side covering so the rods set in a bit, other wise they are gonna stick out and be in the way. Along the back might work...except going down the highway??
Unfortunately motors are designed to be used, the more they are run, the fewer issues you will have. And the opposite is also true, the more they sit idle the more issues you will likely have !! If nothing else, get a pair of water muffs and run the motor in your driveway once or twice a...
Done that a couple times and worked well, except if your kids are active... My grandkids in there younger days could not sit still and the fishing rods received there attention no matter where I put them!!
