check for spark and timing with a timing light and also open the drains on the carb bowls to see if they have fuel.
need good compression,good spark at the correct time, and proper fuel to air ratio in the cylinders to start and run
never heard of a motor that would not pump water out of the Tell tail when running on muffs
is this an after market kit you bought?
Never heard of a Yamaha kit including housing.
heck, even my China made meter reads OL when no continuity is there,
along with all of the other meters including Flukes.
even set to diode testing it reads OL if no connection is seen
well the manual does not give specs that low, so we have to think the low speed charge coil is bad or the wiring to it.
but if the low speed coil is not putting out what is needed, then I do not see how the other plugs would be sparking
this is getting very strange.
did the DVA come with instructions on what to set the meter to, to get the readings?
I thought it was to DCV.
