    No it has to have a plug if injection is removed.. that is raw fuel/air mix you see expelled from hole....very explosive.

    The head is the recessed lip in block and the bushing is the split plastic ring on bottom of timer base.. you had it figured out :)

    The idle air screw has nothing to do with oil mix. Oil/fuel ratio is controlled by oil pump or if disabled how much oil you add to fuel tank. This is oil pump and rod(pic) and rod should be connected to carb.

    There was a pressure fitting that mounts in threaded hole to supply air pressure to boat side oil tank. Plug it off as it can cause cylinder to run lean and a fire under cowling.

    Fuel /air mix has noting to do with over oiling. If oil pump is feeding to much the fuel/oil ratio will be rich.

    You should hear the VRO/OMS click about every 30-45 seconds at idle..clicking noise is 100% normal as this is air motor poppet releasing the return spring. If its clicking rapidly there is a air leak

    As you open throttle there is a rod attached to oil pump, this varies the oil mix in fuel line. Its not a reed problem.

    If it has a Bravo drive it came that way from factory.. unless some paid a buttload of money to have drive and transom plates swapped.

    Use the CCMS( Chris Carson) reeds or TDR (Tony Doukas)...Boyeson wont last but a couple of years if that. The CCMS reeds are plug and play with no need to rejet

    The QL78YC are used in 60° motors which you have..the L77J4C are for 90° motors

    No it is cast iron and all three will likely needed bored due to wear and out of roundness. Hone wont fix it....

    You have more weight than HP and the bigfoot is hurting itdue to increased drag. Take the prop to a propeller shop and have them cut diameter down
