    The decals / cowling is clearly a 1965 model to me!----Some will argue---But I would pull the flywheel.----Replace condenser.-----Clean and set breaker points.----Great little motor and should run like a top all day long.----You have installed a new water pump impeller I hope.

    The cowling clearly appears to be a 1965 to me!----The ignition system on your motor is totally different from what is in the listing per post #19

    Remove bypass cover on intake side of the block.----Have a look at piston / rings.

    Most motors up to the mid 1980's had a metal plate riveted on the midsection-----Then they were allowed to use plastic stickers that faded or were destroyed with cleaning.---Should never have been allowed.----Especially in areas where outboards have a title to them.
