    1987 Yamaha Pro V 150 Stalling

I would think that if there is a small air leak on the suction side of the pumps it might cause a problem like you are seeing at low RPM, but at higher RPM the pumps can pump more fuel to keep up. I have read placing a clear piece of tubing in the system might show some air bubbles instead of...

good to hear you found the problem and thanks for coming back to report what the problem was. I would think hooking up a timing light would have shown it was not firing when it was suppose to

    Power loose at plane out

VST not staying full while motor is at low RPM above a certain RPM the lift pumps run all of the time, low RPM it turns on and off. pressure relief /recyle valve sticking open might cause that sucking air maybe

    1987 Yamaha Pro V 150 Stalling

    100:1 mix ok in Yamaha 1999 3hp?

just what I have read before, but long lay up of the motor run at 100 to 1 might let rust sneak in during that no run time

    06 F115 won't plane up

2001 Yamaha 50hp tlrz 2 stroke with prime start system starts and dies

open is the emergency position since it provides fuel if it will not start in normal off should be the 3rd position, it turns off the extra fuel incase the needle does not shut it off when in normal and warmed up. if left in the open position the motor should run too rich. sounds like the...

    Yamaha VZ150TLR Questions

injected motors have a fairly sealed system on the motor, so it should not evaporate away like carbed motors. but it is always good to run them from time to time to make sure fresh gas gets thru the system. gas in the main tanks is a different story. non e fuel and stabilizer is a good idea...

    2018 Suzuki 115hp

I now very little about that Suzuki, but with most all injected motors the idle air control valve can hang up and not be noticed by the ECU, but may hurt the ECU by drawing too much current from constantly trying to change its position, but does not monitor if it is actually moving. and all...

    2006 Yamaha 90 2 stroke

CDI should control the timing as long as you follow the procedure for link and sync in service manual. all 3 carbs need to be exactly the same closed on the carbs and setting the timing with the linkage is part of the link and sync could be a lean sneeze instead of a back fire you were...

    2006 Yamaha 90 2 stroke

make sure the compression, spark and timing are good, if so then that leaves proper fuel to air ratio to chase down needles and gaskets are not the only thing in carbs that can have problems. jets and passages all thru them need to be clean

    F115TXR Starter Click

most problems like that are bad connections . battery terminals not making good contact to posts and then arc a little getting a better connection. pull and clean the connections to see if keeps it from happening again
