    they come loose. Last summer my neighbor was loosing PS fluid into the bilge return line off cooler had a loose clamp. when i went over the engine almost all the clamps on the cooling hoses were dangerously loose.

    could be look on the bottom of your lube reservoir if there are two wires connected to the harness it should have an alarm.

    Yes you are ok because drive was full covering the upper gear set. Yiu can refill reservoir as the air will work its way out. Issue is the level alarm should have gone off giving you the warning beep that should come on briefly when you start the engine , should have been constant…

    I believe AD is speaking about he ignition sensor inside the distributor are there two or three wires coming out of it ? I think the original ones had two wires with post connections on the side of the distributor, these were failure prone and replaced with a sealed three wire unit

    It really depends on how you use your boat. If I recall you have lighter faster boat vs the arse heavy boat I have that doesn't go over 50. Most of my time is with my daughters and their friends skiing/ wakeboarding or swimming. Four blade gives great benefits for that use.

    If your WOT rpm is accurate you need to reduce prop pitch or you have an engine issue. Did it ever get more speed ? Was the drive replace with a different ratio? Agree start with compression test and look at basic tune up items
