    Replace the gaskets.----Fix the leak.------If leakage gets worse and water enter the carburetor it could scrap your fine engine.

    No, NO----It was clearly stated at the back where the ball bearing is !!

    There is a groove near the ball earing at the back of the housing.-----NOTE---this ring has a tapered surface and only goes in one way.

    A few years did use thermostats.----Found at the top of exhaust cover.----A spring thingy on the thermostat cover.---Was for easy maintenance and inspection.

    The mixing unit is under the oil tank.---Fuel is pumped through the unit and oil is added as fuel moves through it.---There is no dedicated oil pump.

    It has 2 FUEL PUMPS in the system.-----It does NOT have an oil pump.-----It has an oil mixing unit in the system.

    ???-----Did you look under fuel system for the mixer unit ?--------Did you look under crankcase to find the oil tank ????-----Not sure what the issue is.----But those all came with an automatic oil mixer from the factory.-----But every one that I have , has had that " mickey mouse" system...

    Just have to go to my shed as I have a few of these older motors.-----But often parts from newer motors can be used.

    Parts are available , but it takes time to find them.-----And often parts from other models can be adapted if you know how.----Sadly , Honda and dealers would rather sell new motors than assist with the older models.

    That water pump was first used on the 1980 model 7.5 HP 2 stroke.-----There is nothing wrong with the design of the pump.----Find the real issue here.----Water in your test bucket is 20 cm above the impeller ?
