    Roller at the back of the trailer half submerged.-----Pull boat on and it will center itself.-----When winch takes too much effort , back the trailer in about 4 or 5 ' more and repeat.-----Put my 30' boat on the trailer that way.-----Never an issue.

    Make up a " u-shaped " bracket.----Same size as tilt adjusting pin.-----About 6" total.----Than clip that into outer holes and on the reverse lock clamp.----Should keep it raised for trailering.-----Got a box full of those brackets ( 40 HP ) from a dealer , he used to give them away with each 40...

    They used the word ----INTRODUCES ----Beginning in 1980.-----Just look it up in many places !

    Yes it does.----Fairly easy.---Just 7 screws , some hoses.----Allows you to inspect that mechanical seal on top of driveshaft.----No worries about shift adjustment.

    I believe there is an issue with compression.----Blown head gasket or piston / ring / cylinder problem.----Some will argue.-----I would remove cylinder head first before spending any beer tokens..
