I use what was original to the motor.----It is easy to get.----I would get blisters on my fingertips in explaining.-----Other folks have posted this info already.----Use googl with ----wire core sparkplug wires for magnetos -----In your search.
Most who know would instantly recognize that to be a 1981/ 82 model.----The 76 model 20 HP motor is totally different with different unique decals for 1976 models !!
I get this WIRE core at a good outboard repair shop !!-----It should be easy to find WIRE core 7mm spark plug wire.-----Make sure you get WIRE core and don't read the fancy script about these NAPA wires.
Flywheel in the picture does not look like the flywheel off a 1976 model.----Do not believe there was a 25 HP in 76.-----Should be easy to find a flywheel.
Well ---the 6 injectors do not all fail at the same time.----Best to find another shop.----May not be easy to find.----You have looked at fuel filters.-----Charged and tested your battery ?-----Do not crank and crank on this starter as it is easily damaged.
Hurry----Run to your local boat shop and see the steering set up common to most boats.-----Then ask for that drag link for the steering.----They might have a box full under the work bench.
The pressure tanks were very good and reliable.-----You pump the primer to fill the carburetor with gas.----As soon as motor starts the crankcase compression is used to put pressure on the fuel.-----Fuel then flows to the carburetor.
No surprise to me that a motor with issues is put up for sale.-----Look into the procedure for synchronizing throttle opening with spark advance.----Check gear oil too.
