    There is a switch on the motor.----It is on the shift linkages on the motor.----Not in the control box !----Look for and check this switch.----If it tells the ECU that motor is in neutral , the motor will not rev up in gear.---Limits RPM to about 3000 RPM.

    Those carburetors are very simple.----Be an easy fix.----But no fuel in one carburetor means that motor was running with no fuel going into that cylinder and no oil.----Fix the carburetor now.

    Agreed ---Reed valves have nothing to do with compression in the cylinders.-----There is no head gasket.----So your issue is the fit of pistons / rings in the cylinder bores.---What was done in your " rebuild " ?----Boring and honing and new O/S pistons / rings.----Or something else ?

    The model # indicates long shaft with an ---L--- in it.----Or a standard 15" would have a 5" spacer to convert to long shaft.----With a picture of your actual motor it is identified in mere seconds.
