    Many of those used a 3/8" head on the bolt.---Or try a 7/16" .----There could be dirt and corrosion around the bolt head too.

    Go to the hardware store.----Buy a brass screw.---Tap the carburetor body.--Drill a hole in the brass screw.----File the screw so hose fits on it.-----Install the screw and cut off the end so you have a nipple to put the hose on !!----There is the at home do a bit of work save some coins method.

    Just snug and line up the hole for the pin.----I can't recall torking a prop nut.

    The motor likely had water in it and is now rusted solidly stuck.-----I believe the trim tilt assembly must be removed from motor for the replacement of the trim motor.

    ???------No that was not an electric shift motor !!!----Electric shift was last produced in 1972 !!--Motors that were painted green.------And it is impossible to fit a mechanical shift to an electric shift motor.----Crankshaft splines were different !

    The 1969 was the first year for the screaming 25 HP model.---I think the 25 HP carb will fit but won't magically up the power of your 20 HP.----A few other tricks were used on the 25 ( better balanced crank ) is but one difference to run at 6000 RPM.

    Starter and bracket from about 1958 to 1976 will fit.----Note ONLY the 22 cubic inch 18 , 20 and 25 HP will fit.----Wonderful parts interchangeability on them.
