    Cant read numbers on hub bit looks like someone has stamped numbers on it refering to the 023 pitch maybe? 84 sea ray 210 cuddy 3350lb 5.7 stroker carbed, alpha1, 5000 rpm max 38mph light load me & 1 passenger & 20gal gas. 23p at 5000 rpm seems like alot of prop & the mph would be much higher...

    Well heck yes they were all free spinning theres so much slop they wobble..but the oil made all the difference once the weight of the boat was on them I guess.

    So....last night I got my oil can out and squirted some 90w gear lube on each roller axle before heading to the lake.. Why did nobody mention this...my boat roled off that trailer & almost got away from me jeeez! Dont need need new rollers now!

    Inspected the trailer last night with the boat in the lake & all the rollers spin free and clear, they all seem equally loaded to the hull and yes we have some rust which I will be addressing (winter project) Ive only launched 2 times just got the boat, I'll figure it out.

    I try backing in shallow & the engine in reverse just cant pull it off & if back in farther till she floats the bow eye catches on the rubber. Loading is an awfull chore i dont know what Im doing wrong? And hype about boats falling off roller trailers half way down the ramp....aint happening...

    Yes...the pinch bolt, tiller arem and gimble pin are all tight no slop...if you pinch up on the video and look closely there is ALOT of slop where the steering cable links to tiller arm at both pin points, the pins just look brass in color.

    Oh crap video doesnt want to load. Heres a screenshot, the 2 brass pins at the steering attachment pointvare worn or something, ive not yet got it apart but is whats causing the slop.

    So...this was me moving the oitdrive left & right which seemed excessive to me...i guess the pins are wallered out a bit i guess normal for a 40yr old boat?

    Is this trailer repairable?

    Thats some pretty bad rot....however, if its just that frame rail and the rest is decent certainly an experieced welder could cut out that section and sister in a new piece.

    Got more time & ambition than money so old **** is the norm for me, I know what needs to happen, I needed a project lol
