    I would like to remove and replace a "shifter" bushing which is located at the bottom of my shifter rod. It appears to be pressed in. does anyone know how to remove it and do I just press it back in? Looks like there may be a o ring as well. Replacing this component should help keep the gearcase...

    I removed the shift rod "clip" (next to carb), then removed the trim tab bolt, then the inode bolt and another one right next to the inode then the four main bolts.
