    lower unit problems

    I have a 1955 5.5 hp Model CD-12 johnson. and when i ran it in the bucket i noticed it was leaking oil from a jole above the prop on the lower unit . i this a problem and if it is waht should i do. I 'll try to put some pic on but i'm not sure if it will work.

    I got it to start

    I got it to start I got my 5.5 hp johnson to start after putting new plugs in. when i got it to start iwas revving the throttle and then it sputtered out i'll try again it tomorrow and i'll post

    Just Please Start

    1955 5.5 hp Johnson wont start.I pull and pull on the cord but it just wont start. i had it running for about 10 seconds just barely and it pumped water and maid bubbles . am doing something wrong please please help

    I have a 1956 5.5hp johnson that i just got from my uncle in the mail today. i have no idea how to mix fuel and gas thats something usualy my dad dose beacause i was 3-4 when we had our boat now i,m 12 and have my own little v-hulled fishing boat and i have no clue on how to get on the water...
