    Thanks for the feedback guys! I’ve Towed with it all the way down myself without a transom saver without issue. Got into a discussion today about it, and it thought to myself I’ll ask the forum.

    Which position would you tow this motor in? I’ve got about 8-10 inches from the skeg to the ground when it’s all the way down. Let’s call the position a number of the picture so if you’d rather tow with motor all way down #3, all the way up #2 etc, Thanks!

    Coil alternatives? 300-850899T.

    My buddy has a little force 5 hp motor that needs a new coil. The cheapest one he’s found is $120 on eBay and there arn’t exactly parts motors galore for this like a merc or omc motor would have. Coil part number is 300-850899T. Is there a cheaper alternative for this? thanks in advance!
