    Aluminum boat, JB Weld repair, now what to do???

    Finally got around to doing the compression test. Both starboard cylinders read 120 and both port cylinders read 150. Anyone know what the compression for a 1985 120 hp Evinrude should be?     Was looking for that 21 15/16" from the "top of the gearcase cover", at the base of the shift rod? Did put the tape measure on the lower end surface and readings didn't seem close. But maybe in 6 or 7 turns they would. Exactly which surface am I supposed to measure from, to the hole on top...
