    20 hp Coughing

    My 1974 20 Hp Merc is coughing on idle, does not do it when you wrap it up, just at idle, and idles rough. I can not find an idle adjustment screw, but the manual does show one, and I can not find a fuel mix screw although the my manual shows one of those too.

    Checked the compression on my 20 HP Merc this morning and it said 90 lbs on both cylinders. That was just with one pull of the rope. Is that correct or do I need to pull the rope more? Seems like that would not be accurate with one pull since it takes a little air to fill the hose and guage...
