    I learned to drive long ago.---No sensors in the car because driver had the common sense back then.------I hate the " high tech " features that are big $$$ to repair.----If you hit a moose or deer it can mean a " write off " of the vehicle.

    Is it packing in there?----That can be adjusted to get the proper amount of leakage.----A mechanical seal should be replaced.----Pictures of your set up ?

    Sparkplugs are not used for this test.----Buy a spark tester.----Or use some wire / glue and carboard to make one.

    It was stated that there is only 1 screw on this gearcase !!----Same gearcase as was used on earlier 2 HP motors.

    Pressure test the gearcase to see if there are any leaking seals.----Or just simply install a seal kit so you will not lose any sleep.

    The lower shift rod MUST be screwed in all the way then backed out so bend faces forward.------And the notch in the shift rods MUST be lined up with the hole in the connector BEFORE you put the screw in.----It really is as simple as that.

    Nobody can see, touch or hear your motor !----You need to post information.-----The 2 most elegantly tests are #1 compression test, post the actual values here.---#2 is a spark test , does spark jump a gap of 3/8" or more on each lead, yes or no?----Then again it could be the flywheel key...

    Hole in the gear case down to drain.----Hole up to fill.----Do not use grease !-----Install a new impeller if you do not know how old it is.-----Water spits out with exhaust relief at the back of exhaust housing.
