    I'll try keep this short. After replacing my 140 deg thermostat, My exhaust manifolds and elbows was reading the following temp with ir gun: Starboard Manifold - 175/Riser - 115. Port Manifold - 170/Riser - 104. Temp gauge reading 160. So I replaced the circulating pump and done the impeller...

    My stern drive is alpha1 gen 2 serial number 0F333583. I used quicksilver 8M0100526 water pump kit. Should I have used 817275Q05 Water Pump Impeller Repair Kit instead? It could explain some of my issues if so. Thank you

    I should also add that the water coming out of the 2 holes is cold. Same temp from the garden hose. So I don't think it's exhaust water

    The little weep holes are on both sides ride behind the bolts. I don't recall if it's ever done that before but it's the first I noticed it right after installing the impeller. It did run a little warm but after about 20+ minutes running it on a garden hose. So I'm not putting to much thought...
