    I'm not sure if it's been converted but the wiring should be the same and it's the best I had also if tan wire from module has continuity to ground then that is your problem start there if you no longer use the tank take it out

    The over heat switch should be Tan and blue not Tan so pay attention to that. You should have a Tan wire that goes to the head that goes to the temp sensor and a Tan and blue for the over heat alarm which goes to the alarm module I have attached a wiring diagram for reference

    With a cold engine unhook your over heat switch that is in the head and check for continuity to ground.. if you have continuity then the switch is bad. Should be Tan/ blue wire

    Yup to kill engine you need to apply ground With your switch off check and make sure you have continuity between Black and Black/yellow at the switch ( not Yellow /black) also go back to the motor and find your Black /Yellow going into switch box and make sure it has continuity with switch...

    The drive is always rotating when the engine is running the only thing that doesn't rotate the whole time the engine is running is the propeller. That is determined by the controller being put in and out of gear

    If you have found you gas cap off I would check for water Drain some gas into a water bottle shake it up then let it set for a few hours come back and with disturbing it to much look at the bottom and see if there's any water bubbles

    If the water level was to low to pump the water then it was to low to lubricate the impeller so I think your hoping for the wrong problem.. some engines don't pee much when idling that is what you should be hoping for

    welcome to the club could you post up a serial number for reference, Also It could be your oil float alarm or your oil pump sense alarm if you are mixing the oil and fuel you can bypass this alarm if you are not mixing then you have problems that need to be addressed

    That is a false statement the rotor button can be facing any direction it is determined by who ever put the distributor in eighter new or last time it was pulled.. Do not assume, This is to easy to figure out. Bring your number 1 piston to the top on the compression stroke. Drop your distributor...
