    Any reason not to replace the vinyl oil lines with a good grade of buna or neoprene fuel line? I know the vinyl is subject to cracking after only a few years in service and needs to be checked regularly. Tkx.<br />Jim

    Motor trims down fine, but won't trim up. Can hear the 'up' relay click in when the motor or helm switches are operated, but the trim/tilt motor doesn't run (with either the helm or the motor mounted switches). Tried swapping the 'up' relay with another, but no difference. I suspect a wiring...

    Went through all of the Merc OEM manual checks for motor with oil alarm while running (remote and motor tanks full, tried bleeding, etc.) Looks like driven gear is not turning when motor is running. This is apparently causing the pump rotor not to turn and generates the alarm. I'm guessing...
