    I have a 3.0 / 140 and I do all my fishing from October to end of April and when I'm done using it for the day I do as Scott06 said and pull the 2 plugs and leave them out until I go out the next day are week... Also high 30' at night is nothing to be concerned about if it's get in the 60's...

    Yes I realize that I have to do fiberglass work would just prefer to keep it limited to the bay area and not cut a hole in the floor of the boat to do a thru bolt mount

    Problem with this is I have no access to the other side of the stringer on either side. The floor of my boat is glassed over and gelcoated and really would prefer not to cut into it..

    By chance did you replace it with an aftermarket module? reason I ask is I have not had much luck with aftermarket modules for some reason they just don't want to advance the time as they should..

    I just purchased this to replace my commander 3000 as well. To answer your question yes the trailer switch is built into the up trim switch lightly push for trim up and it takes a good hard push for trailer trim up also it uses the new style cables so you would have to replace the cables

    Ok so I pulled the 3.0 engine out of the donor boat today the serial number is C338853 The crank does have a harmonic balancer on it and the coupling bolts to the flywheel with 3 bolts

    As in not mix the parts off the blocks or not mix the engine with the stern drive ?
