    Trouble Free OMC Summer

    I didn't have one problem with the boat this summer! (Been on the trailer since April) :D We are going out next weekend and will likely be back after that to post on a new issue. :facepalm: EDIT: Was out for a 3 hour tour in May(?) Had overheating problems.

    I work on everything that I own, down to pulling the transmission on my truck and pulling the 454 from the boat and doing everything but the machine work. I'll be 52 next month and I hurt like hell for 3 days after I work on anything. I am fit and 5'-10" 175 lbs and everything hurts more than it...

    Re: Don't like using Muffs, your thoughts on this idea? Here is today's version. This works great! My lower unit is contoured at the inlets and muffs leak bad. 1/4" plate, 1/2" pipe tap and a trip to home depot, problem solved. I refuse to spin another impeller on muffs. I'll make a gasket...
