    ???----If you look closely at the cover you will see the METAL pieces.----Wires have been know to short to them----I can not touch your motor.-----But good luck with your motor.

    Do not run this motor until you correct the issue.---Plug wires shorted to the cowling ??------Make sure high speed jets are clean.----Check flywheel key.----Does spark jump a gap of 7/16" on each lead?-----Running with tested VRO ?----Conventional pump mounted directly over pulse port on intake...

    There was a service bulletin in 1994 to move the tell tale fitting to the top of the block.----Therefor motor has not been at a shop that cared I think.----Just my opinion.

    Invest or borrow a proper compression gauge and post the numbers..-----Baffling to me why all these parts had to be replaced.----Any visible scoring when head was off ??----Does the tell tale hose originate off the side of the block, or was it moved to the top ?

    A gasket could not leak that much.----Look carefully at bottom of cylinder head.----Stop video if you must.----Owner should post picture when head is off.

    That cylinder head is likely warped , they all are.-----Unless it was refinished already.

    Looks like the core plug , bottom of cylinder head is leaking.----Easy fix.

    I would say if spark can jump a gap of 3/8" or more then stator is good.---If you lay a sparkplug on the block and see spark , that does not mean stator is good.

    The VRO can be tested ----Or mix at 50: 1 in your tank.----Mark oil tank level.----Run the fuel tank empty and see how much oil is needed to bring oil level up to your mark.----And does the hose for the tell tale come off the side off the engine block or off the top??----Install a new water pump...

    Check availability of a new high pressure pump.-----Or perhaps have dealer check fuel pump output pressure.----Check lift pump as well.

    That is not TRIM.----Just electric tilt for docking , slow speed running.----There should be a release valve under the motor / pump assembly.----Lucky you if you can turn it to release and raise the motor?

    What rubber hose / plastic fitting on this model ?----There was no tell tale on this 72 model when it left the factory.

    It should fire right up with fuel in the cylinders.-----Checked the flywheel key ?---Torqued flywheel nut to the correct value ?----I would say you need to do some more trouble shooting.----Something really simple is the issue.----Just my opinion as I can not see or touch this motor.
