    Tested this solenoid yourself ?-----Why would you need a new solenoid for the choke ?----What is your motor doing / not doing??----Does motor start right up with manual choke ?

    ???---Test the choke solenoid !!----Simple jumper wire from battery side of start solenoid the choke solenoid should make it click.----I doubt that solenoid is faulty !

    Are you sure that ignition will be damaged on this motor, by testing one cylinder at a time ??

    Check safety switch in control box.-----Annd possibly one on the motor ( white wire.----Only one white wire goes to the safety switch on the motor.

    Did overheat horn sound ?----Agreed , see if flywheel will turn by hand.----Drain gear oil and check for metal bits.
