    Thanks,the deck has it own dedicated lever to raise and lower the deck.It is on the far right of the dash.The blade activation lever is within the dash.The steering wheel is stopping the dash cover from coming off to reveal the switch.

    LED flares??? Coast guard approved??

    Need some new flares and came across LED flares.I have a flare gun in a closed kit for as long as I can remember,12 gage I think ...with a pistol. I have never used a flare,I never go out at night and was wondering if this is a good choice ??

    Does not sound like a spun hub to me or even any slippage at all.It would be happening when under load when you are throttling up.You probably missed a meal and went out alone without fueling up....Thus higher rpms.Charlie

    Buffing the hull

    Stick with your method as it is tried and true.I dont agree with sanding unless your gelcoat is extremely oxidized.It is amazing what you can do with stages of product and polishing.The people that usually recommend sanding are the same people that have never sanded themselves.Charlie

    Getting leaf stains off fiberglass.

    Spray with regular old bleach.Wait a minute and rinse well with water.Repeat if necessary.That WILL get rid of leaf residue.Been there....done that!! Though most here will warn you that bleach is the antichrist..Lol ..Gimme a break..Charlie

    NOT normal...I have boated in salt water for over 30 years and have never had anywhere near that much rust anywhere on my motors.You need to find out where the water is coming from causing the rust.Charlie

    Lower unit or shift linkage issue?

    Look on top of the engine where the shift cable has a small barrel and slides into a retainer held in place with a small cotter pin.Look for the cotter pin which holds it into the retainer.Sounds like the cable slid out of the retainer.Charlie

    Vinyl Seats Bubbling Up

    Absolutely a chemical reaction.I second the bug repellant reply.Had a spot on my newly redone interior years ago and saw it happening so grabbed some baking soda which was in the fridge and applied it to stop the chemical action.Mine turned right into a hole,no bubbling up.Charlie
