    Looking for Snap-On Boat Cover

If you're a cheap ass like me, you buy a giant heavy duty tarp, some snaps and a tool to press them on. 2 hours later, mooring cover! I'm on season #7 with it, no worse for wear. Not pretty, but effective, and everything was less than 50 bucks. And takes me 4 minutes to put on.

Need to know if rpms increase but speed doesn't. You'll need to find out if this is engine or outdrive. Either way you'll need to start looking for a trailer

Mercruiser 165 4 cylinder running hot

I'm guessing that's what happened. *Completely* obstructing the hx, reservoir, exhaust is possible but seems tough to do.

    No spark

Yes, but it isn't a safety switch. It's the shift interrupt switch, which normally grounds out the ignition for a moment to allow you to shift gears. There's a good TB troubleshooting article in the adults only sticky at the top of the forum page.

Mercruiser Alpha 1 Gen 1 Project

It should point straight forward, and the lower should be in forward gear (prop locked CCW).

Mercruiser 165 4 cylinder running hot

Disconnect the hose entering the heat exchanger from the transom to confirm that you're getting flow from the lower unit. If so, pull the hose from the heat exchanger coming into the reservoir to make sure that you don't have an obstruction in the hx. Basically you need to 1) make sure that your...

    Delco Voyager EST.... New ??

Yes. The interrupt switch is not powered, it grounds when it closes and is hooked to the negative side of the coil

Need to tweak shift cable for reverse

His problem is with the engagement, not the cutoff. Did you check the cables for free play like in Chris's video?

Engine starts to sputter/breakup/lose power after warm 3.0 ‘98

Yes, this could absolutely be the culprit. 2 styles of filter, one that looks like ceramic and one that's paper. I think only the paper style is sold now. Won't find them at a flaps (maybe napa), otherwise here at iboats, walmart maybe, Amazon Edit: would have thought that the new fuel pump...

    Fuel pressure dropping.

That's all I can think of. Some applications have shims behind the pump which control the lever travel, not sure in your application. But if that's the case I'm not sure if the pressure would ever rise high enough, or if it would be a strictly volume issue. Swapping an electric in would answer...

Needing Wiring Assistance After Engine Swap

When you turn the key to "run", you shouldn't get anything. When turned to "start/crank" there should...
