    nope, motor is designed like a p-trap. water will drain to the top of the thermostat housing at best unless you pull the block drains

    If it's the circulation pump (bolted to block) then replace before use. Dripping means the thing is soon to fail If it's the raw water pump (bolted to crank) then that one is easily rebuilt, and you can probably use it this weekend, however should repair or replace soon

    24 or 36 grit for material removal. 40 or 60 grit for between layer prep. 80 grit for gel coat prep

    make sure the motor is up to snuff: check compression check fuel pressure check timing if all is good with the motor, then look at dropping down 1-2" in pitch. if you add a blade, you need to drop pitch. I personally would not recommend a 4-blade prop on a pontoon. FWIW, pontoons are...

    Soldering and the adhesive lined shrink wrap will help. Then hose the connection down with 2-3 coats of insulating varnish. It can then be submerged and be OK

    file the points with a points file use a dwell meter to set the dwell (just gapping isnt good enough) then adjust timing then adjust the idle speed like mentioned above.

    unfortunately, most boat OEMs in the 80's, 90's, and even the 00's didnt use tinned wire.
