    1990 OMC 4.3L No-Start Condition :*(

first, welcome aboard next, step back and put the wrench down yes, all the pushrods are the same length. and you set the valvetrain by 1/2 to 3/4 turn past zero lash. zero lash is zero up-down movement by your two fingers, not the zero ability to spin the pushrod. you only want to collapse...

recmnds for 2.5" fuel filler hose under my console

Are you sure on the size of the A2 hose? Most marine fuel tanks are 1-1/2" I'd for gasoline and 2" for diesel. On an 18' boat I would expect it to be 1-1/2" The A2 hard wall hose is stiff, but simply let it sit in the sun for a bit. There will be a natural curve to the hose from the spool...

Difference between U.S. & Cdn. capacity plates

I flew on a puddle jumper about 15 years ago where you walked on the tarmac and they asked you your weight as you got on so they could assign seats. the couple in front of me were pushing 350 each. yet told the steward 200. I said out loud. based on their reported weight vs actual, my weight...

Difference between U.S. & Cdn. capacity plates

My guess The US uses 185# (since 12-01-2011). That number used to be 160. The average person weighs much more The formula for US capacity still uses 150#/person in its (Length x width) / 15 I believe the rest of the world uses 80kg and does not "round up" with outdated formula
