    Yes....run without, flush well install new ones and test head temp with hand or IR gun. Report back, salt use or no?

    Why is my System Check alarm sounding?

    Alarm should do two things, an overheat situation or something wrong with the oiling system if you're using the vro. My guess on this one is, is you haven't changed your impeller or looked at it. Probably slightly overheating at low speed and it's good at high.

    Okay, Tim.... Now I know how to pay you back, steel OMC tanks around this place are a dime a dozen and I've probably got a dozen. How many would you like? Around the Pacific Northwest, I'm using them in the salt the outsides rust like hell. If you abuse them the inside rust that's for sure...

    Race knows more....but not sure why you loosen them. I always re-torque after 2 hours of use.

    Just re-torque it to spec. Can't hurt it and then you can sleep dreaming of ripping across the lake at high speeds.

    Does your overheat alarm work? Does the paint look scorched? Sounds like an overheat situation.

    Hit the wake and slowed down. Hmmm. Junk in tank? Fuel pickup screen might be clogged. Install a spin on Racor filter and remove screen from pick up tube. Typically when you have that situation the primer ball is collapsed. What I analyzed, went south after hitting wake, then slowly got better.

    No, no need or do not glue on head gasket. True up head, install but like what was stated, that is not your problem.
