Just picked up a 15ft. Aluminum Bass Tracker.
The past owners have drilled a bunch of holes in the rub rail around the boat.
They are rough and can catch fishing lines and cast nets.
Wondering the best way to fill or finish these holes?
Some holes were for a canvas and a Bimini .

What is the difference in the 200 HPDI and the 200 OX66
My fishing partner has the2005 OX66 and it looks the same as the HPDI

Looking for a spanner to take the T@T end caps off so I can change the seals?
I've seen some at $500 down to $80
My Mercury and other wrenches don't fit,and the one that comes close might screw
the holes and I won't do that.
Anything more reasonable??

This is for all outboard owners that have a reserve and main oil tank for their outboards.
Yamaha is the one most affected by this problem, because of the design of their tanks..
The moisture/condensation in the tanks settles to the bottom, over time it can grow a fungus and after some time...
Was cleaning the carbon from the EGR valves on the twin motors.
Both joints or plungers were solid and closed off.
The question is the stbd. motor when the key was off the EGR had power(12v) to the unit.
And it was HOT!!!!
The port EGR with the key off had no power to it???
Why would one...
Pair of 200 yams.
Both run fairly good at high speeds.
Stbd. motor uses 3X the oil the other does.
I haven't looked at the linkage on either motor.
How to adjust or check the oil systems?
Haven't done a compression test yet.
The port motor trolling speeds: it starts at 750-800 then increases...
Had a lot of people ask where to find a prop for their Force motor.
Got to looking for another part(1/4" squeezie) and found a great place that sells the regular props fairly cheap.

New impeller, housing good, wear plate good, new poppet and parts, new thermostat etc.
It can run all day at 3/4 throttle.
Hit wide open, it overheats.
The cooling passages clear.

The add (above) says that you can reshim and run it backwards.
I'd always heard that the L hand units weren't strong enough to run backwards/forwards

I posted something about this a few years ago, then ran into the same problem last week.
The design of the tank allows moisture to settle in the bottom of the tanks.
This then forms into a fungus that can clog the hoses and pump causing engine failure.
Fungus can grow in diesel and oil tanks...

The alarm sounded, continuous sound.
Turns out the fuel filters alarm was making it sound off.
The tank had a lot of water making the alarm sound off.
I'd heard that alarm should have been intermittent??
What do the different alarms mean?
